Job summary

Reporting to the Human Resources Advisor, the Human Resources Technician provides administrative support to HR operations, organizes and coordinates events and projects to achieve the company's human resources objectives.

Main responsibilities

• Actively participate in the overall staffing process for plant, office and intern positions.
• Establish and maintain a partnership with educational institutions as part of our Internship Program.
• Follow up and update all administrative tasks, including the opening and closing of employee files and the creation of IT tickets.
• Collaborate closely with managers to assess recruitment needs and understand the mandate to optimize the process.
• Coordinate and perform all tasks related to welcoming and integrating new employees.
• Organize, coordinate and participate in various events related to the Human Resources department.
• To be a positive force in change management and to inspire mobilization.
• Actively participate in the creation and optimization of HR processes.
• Organize and manage employee recognition programs, employee anniversaries, etc.
• Contribute to the updating of company policies and ensure their implementation.
• Research, organize, and manage external and internal training activities for office employees.
• Collaborate occasionally on special projects.

Profile required

Bachelor's degree, specializing in human resources (an asset)

At least 1 year of related experience

Strong written and oral communication skills, in French and English, including professional presentation skills.
