Our client, a well-established manufacturer, is seeking an experienced and proactive HR Generalist. A strategic thinker and a true go-getter, ready to play a hands-on role in the day-to-day operations of the HR department. The HR Generalist will be responsible for various key functions, including recruitment, payroll processing, employee relations and development, benefit administration and compliance.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring a strong background in HR, with proven expertise in recruitment, payroll, and employee relations.
Responsibilities :
- Recruitment – develop job descriptions in coordination with managers, create job posts, conduct initial screening and assist throughout the hiring and on-boarding process.
- Payroll Processing – process accurate and timely bi-weekly payroll.
- Employee Relations - serve as a point of contact for employee questions on policies, benefits, and payroll.
- Compliance - maintain up-to-date employee records and ensure compliance with labour laws, and company policies.
- Training and Development - support the coordination of training requirements and employee development programs.
- Performance Management - contribute to performance management initiatives, including evaluations and goal-setting.
- Social Committee – coordinate with social committee team on activities and initiatives.
