Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HR/Payroll & Benefits Administrator for a direct hire opportunity in Milton, ON with a well-established consumer packaged goods manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented HR and payroll professional who enjoys working with payroll data, benefits administration, pension coordination, HR reporting, and employee support.
The HR/Payroll & Benefits Administrator will work closely with the HR team and corporate payroll partners to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant administration across hourly and salaried payroll, time and attendance, benefits, leaves, pension, and HR documentation. This position offers a balanced hybrid schedule with 4 days in office and 1 work from home day per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate payroll data collection, time and attendance reporting, payroll expense reporting, and timely submission of payroll information for hourly and salaried employees.
- Maintain the time and attendance system, including new hire set-up, timecard management, weekly reports, overtime approvals, and payroll uploads.
- Administer employee benefits, pension enrollments, terminations, leaves, retirements, taxable benefits, and employee contribution balancing.
- Support leave administration, including STD, LTD, parental leave, WSIB, WCB, and other government-protected absence programs.
- Provide HR administrative support, including job postings, system updates, reporting, employment letters, invoice coordination, recognition tracking, and audit reports.
- Liaise with benefit providers, insurance carriers, corporate payroll, employees, and internal stakeholders to resolve inquiries and maintain accurate records.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $75,000 to $80,000 per year.
