Overview :
Langara Fishing Lodge, nestled in the stunning landscapes of Haida Gwaii, is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Housekeepers. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that our lodge remains a welcoming and pristine space for our guests.
Key Responsibilities :
- Exhibit high attention to detail in all cleaning tasks to ensure a spotless and inviting atmosphere.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, efficiently managing time to meet daily cleaning goals.
- Start early mornings to prepare accommodations for arriving guests.
- Strip and remake beds with precision and care.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Clean bathrooms, floors, and vacuum common areas to ensure hygiene and comfort.
- Handle laundry by flipping, fluffing and folding items as needed.
- Conduct window cleaning and maintenance to enhance the lodge’s appearance.
- Dust surfaces throughout the lodge to maintain a clean and fresh environment.
- Welcome and show guests to their rooms, providing a friendly and professional experience.
- Maintain the ability to be on your feet for long hours, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
