We are seeking to establish a pool of Cleaner for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Waroona DHS is situated in a beautiful garden setting close to the town centre and adjacent to a modern recreation and aquatic centre. The size and nature of Waroona DHS provides the ideal environment for students to learn in a caring environment. The Role
Suitable applicants will carry out internal cleaning duties, including the maintenance of carpets and hard floor surfaces, toilet cleaning, furniture and fittings, window cleaning, dusting and rubbish removal. They will perform external cleaning duties, including the cleaning of verandas and covered areas, rubbish removal, cleaning of drinking troughs, window cleaning and removal of cobwebs. They will complete school holiday cleaning duties, including the stripping and sealing of vinyl floors, window cleaning, shampooing of carpets, cleaning of verandas and undercover areas, maintenance of the undercover area floors, and other such duties as required by the Cleaner-In-Charge. Shifts are four hours in the early mornings Monday to Friday. Additional afternoon hours may be available with negotiation for the right applicant.
