Clean safe and job done Complete required paperwork for projects and jobs Read work orders and designate proper hoses chemicals and other equipment required job. If unsure seek advice of supervisor Ensure equipment is properly decontaminated at end of job Other duties as assigned Valid Class 1 or Class 3 license with no more than 5 demerits in last 3 years is required 1 years experience in an industrial environment required Able to provide a negative result on a preemployment drug and alcohol test CSTS09 & OSSA Regional; BSO or Common Safety Orientation certification required Experience in the following Industrial Chemical Cleaning Projects is an asset : Boiler Cleaning Various Chemical Washes with Passivation and Preservation. Vapor Phase Various scopes Tank Cleaning Circulation separation and degassing. Air Blows Decompression Pulse and Continuous Air Blows. N2 Purging. Familiarity with large bore pumping systems (skid pumps and chemical trucks). Experience working with the following industrial chemistries is an asset : Caustic Ammonium Biflouride Soda Ash Various degreasers and degassing chemistries Strong mechanical aptitude You are safety focused when it comes to people and equipment Perform physically demanding work (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis) Enjoy working outdoors in various weather conditions You have the ability to work well in a team share a laugh with your coworkers and get the job done safely
CEDA is currently seeking Chemical Cleaning Operators at our Fort McMurray AB location.
