Job descriptionCustomer service duties like welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors Manage access control Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams Answer questions in person or by phone Write incident reports and communicate security concerns Required to work with a team of highly skilled Security Professionals Visit a patient – direct the person(s) to Patient Inquiry (Switchboard) to obtain the room number Diagnostic procedure (EKG, Holter Monitor, X-Ray, CT scan, Ultrasound) direct them to the Diagnostic Imaging department Post-surgical follow up, staple removal, Plastic Surgery clinic – to Orthopedic Clinic Direct anyone out of the building, who is not supposed to be there CCTV Monitoring Responding to Fire Alarm / Emergency Situations Respond to different codes Complete daily reports and incident reports Desk Duties Other duties as assigned Be authorized to work in Canada Hold a valid Manitoba security license First aid certification an asset Exceptional customer service skills Proficient in basic phone & computer skills Fluent in English, both written and orally High school education or equivalent Strong customer service skills Excellent computer skills

As a Hospital Security Guard Guard, there is a high focus on customer service, De-escalating Situations, Patrolling and Desk duties, since you will be working with people all shift in a Hospital environment.
