We are currently seeking a skilled, passionate, and collegial Cerebrovascular / Endovascular / Cranial-Focused Neurosurgeon to join our expanding neurosurgery team in Carmichael / Sacramento, California.
Position Overview :
As a Cerebrovascular / Cranial-Focused Neurosurgeon with Mercy Medical Group, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating complex neurological conditions affecting the brain and cerebrovascular system, ranging from aneurysms to brain tumors. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including neurology, neurocritical care, oncology, and radiation oncology, to deliver comprehensive care to our patients. Successful candidates must be ABNS board-certified or eligible. The ideal candidate will have excellence in cranial neurosurgery and vascular / endovascular surgery, with a strong commitment to patient care and teamwork. Mercy San Juan is a comprehensive stroke center, with a robust referral network for neurovascular and cranial diseases.
- Call frequency for general neurosurgery would be Q6-7, covering 1 hospital, 1 office location.
- Strong trauma / neurocritical care / hospitalist team that admits all patients.
- Comprehensive stroke center (the first in California).
- Endovascular-trained neurosurgeon would take Q3 endovascular call.
