for and indefinite period, but not to extend beyond January 31, 2025
Mandatory Requirements :
Basic qualifications to teach in the Senior Division - Cooperative Education
Requirements :
Sound knowledge of the programs and teaching experience in the listed division and subject areas.
Special Education Part I would be considered an asset.
Knowledge and experience in utilizing student learning management systems such as Google Classroom, as well as additional G-Suite digital tools and EDSBY, to facilitate instruction and effective communication with parents.
Demonstrated knowledge of how students learn effectively with a repertoire of proven instructional and assessment practices.
Commitment to supporting the use of technology in instruction and learning, and to promoting an environment of innovation and creativity that engages the 21st century learner.
Commitment to ongoing professional learning and collaboration around the school’s Student Achievement Plan through school-based PLC’s, department meetings, co-planning and co-teaching.
Knowledge, experience and proven ability in utilizing differentiated instructional approaches within the classroom that support well-being, equity and inclusion.
Proven ability to implement effective classroom management strategies.
Ability to implement a shared vision consistent with the principles of Catholic education and integrating the Catholic Graduate Expectations within the curriculum.
Flexibility to be assigned in other subject areas as the need arises.
Willingness to actively assume extra-curricular duties.
Knowledge of, and familiarity with, the school community.
