Job descriptionSafely operating various equipment to lift, move, and position metal materials within the facility and yard You may be asked to operate the following heavy equipment : crane, shear, loader, forklift Lifting and transporting metal materials using attachments such as magnets or grapples, and safely place them in designated areas or processing equipment Loading and unloading trucks and containers, ensuring proper weight distribution and load security Collaborating and communicating effectively with team members, supervisors, and other personnel During any down time, you may be required to perform general yard maintenance and perform cleaning around the yard You have an operator certification and / or experience operating heavy equipment You have a minimum of 1 year’s experience operating in a heavy industrial setting You have attention to detail and the ability to accurately position and handle different types of metal materials You are comfortable using various crane attachments, such as magnets or grapples You have familiarity with metal recycling processes, materials, and specifications You are comfortable working outdoors and in a heavy industrial environment Entry level Full-time Other Utilities

Job Description
As a Heavy Equipment Operator, this position requires strong operation skills, adherence to safety regulations, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Your primary responsibility will be to operate a crane while supporting the overall operations. This position is Monday‑Friday from 6 : 30am‑3 : 00pm and alternating Saturdays.
