You are an experienced Health & Safety Advisor who consistently conveys professional judgment and can build effective relationships across all levels. You will play a key role in the execution and implementation of a diverse range of health and safety programs and can expect to work on challenging projects with diverse and collaborative teams to meet and exceed Ledcors safety standards.
This position is site-based and the specific rotation schedule and project location will be determined based on project requirements.

Essential Responsibilities :
- Conduct inspections of the work area and meet with field supervisors to discuss any potential problems : help to ensure the adequate supply of safety equipment such as protective equipment fire extinguishers respirators etc.
- Advise operations regarding Ledcors Health and Safety Management System based on a solid understanding of program execution throughout the project lifecycle
- Monitor compliance with jurisdictional regulatory requirements
- Assists in the coordination and completion of safe work procedures hazard assessments safety inspections focus audits and incident investigations
- Verify compliance with leading and lagging indicators including subcontractors as well as any identified corrective actions
- Conduct the HS&E Orientation to employees and subcontractors during project onboarding.
- Provide support to site leadership in the preparation of site-specific material for safety meetings and toolbox talks
- Support the coordination organization and delivery of project toolbox talks and safety meetings
- Develop and enhance Job Hazard Analysis and Safe Work Practice documents based on existing materials
- Monitor and report on the overall effectiveness of the overall implementation of project HS&E plans
- Audit the quality of the field level hazard assessments and incident investigation reports for accuracy and completeness
- Assist with the implementation of occupational hygiene practices and have awareness of medical screening programs
