A Day in the Life

Senior Principal Healthcare Service/Solution Consultant Specialist:

The Senior Consultant, Optimization connects with client hospitals to understand and analyze their most pressing operational challenges and deliver high-value services and solutions which optimize quality, productivity, and effectiveness. Leads projects across partnerships to deliver sustainable results, integrating the Group's service and solutions offerings. Drive and sustain complex transformational change and operational excellence. Design and implement growth strategies and help hospitals innovate and optimize operations, delivering sustained performance outcomes.
• In collaboration with the team, the Senior Consultant, Optimization will partner with clients to help them co-design, implement and sustain strategic initiatives through:
o Clinical operational service delivery reviews and redesign
o Health services planning and workforce optimization
o Clinical Process Redesign across the care continuum
o Data analytics and targeted optimization / modelling for health system planning and operations improvement o Lean and Six Sigma projects, programs, and transformational activities to drive quality improvement, financial savings and operational excellence.

Responsabilités

  • Former, coacher et encadrer les membres de l’équipe afin de promouvoir le transfert de connaissances et l’apprentissage partagé, pour développer l’expertise en optimisation opérationnelle et en excellence.
  • Générer des preuves claires de la valeur du programme.

PROFIL SPÉCIALISTE

Typiquement, un contributeur individuel avec des responsabilités dans une discipline ou spécialité professionnelle. Gère et/ou livre les projets assignés et travaille avec d’autres parties prenantes pour atteindre les résultats souhaités. Peut agir comme mentor auprès de collègues ou diriger le travail d’autres professionnels de niveau inférieur. La majorité du temps est consacrée à la livraison et à la supervision des projets – de la conception à la mise en œuvre – tout en respectant les politiques, en utilisant des connaissances et compétences spécialisées généralement acquises par une formation avancée.

  • Diplôme pertinent en ingénierie, médecine, santé, sciences de la vie ou domaine des affaires.
  • Solide connaissance du système de santé canadien, y compris la conception du système de santé, les modèles de prestation de services et les tendances.

  • Provide Healthcare Service/Solution Consultancy, oversees consulting projects that involve strategy development, organizational restructuring and management of the business to maximize efficiencies.
  • Works with senior management of companies to determine long-term goals by analyzing the client's business and making recommendations for changes and improvements.
  • Responsible for reporting complaints and Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR)
  • Utilize change management techniques to engage stakeholders and attain buy-in of the program.
  • Train, coach and mentor team members to promote knowledge transfer and shared learning to drive expertise in operational optimization and excellence.
  • Generate clear proof points of the value for the program.

SPECIALIST CAREER STREAM: Typically an individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty. Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals.
