Key Job Elements :
- Conduct system, sub-system & components obsolescence management for vehicles
- Pro-actively monitor / screen bill of materials for obsolescence based on technology lifecycle, diminishing material supply, supplier's production cycles
- Monitor the alerts from GIDEP, Q-Star, Total Parts Plus, SMART and OEM's which specify the parts and products that the manufacturers are discontinuing
- Prepare and co-ordinate ED&T engineering estimate to resolve obsolescence issues
- Write various obsolescence management reports for internal and external customers by indicating availability status of each component and assembly
