Field Technician

We are seeking an Interim Field Technician for our Waste Management discipline in Vancouver, traveling Metro Vancouver and potentially Interior region, available weekdays and weekends. Pay $28.00 per hour on an open-ended contract.

Responsibilities

• Perform waste audits and waste sorting activities for garbage, recycling, and organics.
• Complete visual audits of residential organics, recycling, and garbage collection carts and input the information through a virtual option.
• Collect waste materials such as garbage, recycling, and organics.
• Complete audits of residential recycling carts, tag waste carts and upload data.
• Communicate to all members of the public in a manner that is effective, friendly and professional, ensuring exceptional service.
• Develop a strong understanding of municipal waste collection programs.
• Input and upload data and results; for some weeks this may include using your personal mobile phone.
• Work various weekday and weekend shifts.
• Attend one virtual training session (paid).
