For more than 50 years, Louise Kool & Galt (LKG) part of the Brault & Bouthillier group, which includes Bridges Canada, Brault & Bouthillier, and Avron has been one of Canada’s most trusted partners in early learning and elementary education.

We supply high‑quality learning materials, furniture, and equipment to educators and organizations across the country, backed by exceptional service and deep sector expertise.

Proudly 100% Canadian‑owned, LKG operates from a 35,000 sq.

ft.

distribution centre in Scarborough, Ontario, We are seeking a dynamic, relationship‑driven Account Manager to join our growing team and help expand our impact across Ontario and the country.

The Opportunity Our Account Managers are the face of LKG for customers across the education and early years sectors.

You’ll build meaningful, long‑term relationships with decision makers and end users at school boards, childcare organizations, and community partners—acting as a trusted advisor who understands their needs and champions their success. Working closely with our national sales team, you will contribute to shared revenue goals, develop territory strategies, and identify opportunities to grow our presence in a rapidly evolving market.

In this role, you will: • Manage, service, and grow existing LKG accounts while proactively developing new relationships • Build and execute a Territory Action Plan aligned with corporate sales priorities • Identify emerging opportunities, challenges, and trends within your territory • Develop strong relationships with key decision‑makers across school boards, schools, childcare centres, and early childhood organizations • Position LKG as the preferred partner through consultative, value‑based engagement • Deliver exceptional customer care with timely, professional communication Key Responsibilities: • Sell a broad portfolio of products and services to Ontario’s education and early years sectors, including schools, boards, childcare centres, and family/parenting programs • Plan, manage, and grow a defined sales territory with clear goals and measurable outcomes • Prioritize customer and prospect engagement to meet or exceed revenue targets • Travel throughout Ontario to meet customers (including occasional multi‑day trips) • Maintain and expand customer relationships using ethical, value‑driven sales practices • Respond promptly to customer inquiries, ensuring a seamless and positive experience • Use CRM tools to track activities, maintain accurate records, and support team collaboration • Represent LKG/BB at customer meetings, conferences, trade shows, and industry events • Provide accurate sales forecasts and consistently deliver strong performance Work Location: This is a hybrid role. You’ll need to be able to spend some time in our Scarborough office during your on-boarding and orientation and then transition to primarily remote work and visits to clients. A functional home office and access to a car are required. The role includes regular travel within Ontario and occasional travel across Canada with all appropriate mileage and travel related expenses covered.

Experience and Attributes we're looking for: • 4+ years of sales experience (education, B2B, or related sectors or products strongly preferred) • Strong organizational skills with a proactive, solutions‑oriented approach • Collaborative team player committed to building trust with customers, vendors, and colleagues • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities • Strong planning, prioritization, and time‑management skills • Proven success managing major accounts or large contracts • Confident presenting to groups of all sizes, both in person and virtually • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM systems • Related post‑secondary education • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle • French language skills are an asset Why Join Louise Kool & Galt?

If you’re passionate about supporting education, contributing to the well‑being of future generations, and representing a company known for quality, integrity, and exceptional customer satisfaction, LKG offers a meaningful and rewarding career path.

You’ll join a supportive, mission‑driven team that values collaboration, innovation, and long‑term relationships—both with our customers and with each other.
