Job descriptionPrepare and update health and safety documentation (inductions, procedures, forms, checklists, etc.) and ensure timely deployment to teams. Support site activities by applying safety standards and assisting subcontractors with compliance. Organize and monitor site safety visits, including follow-up actions. Coordinate PPE preparation and distribution for personnel and subcontractors. Manage QHSE onboarding and induction sessions for new staff and subcontractors. Communicate proactively with other departments to ensure efficient implementation of safety processes. Assist in incident reporting and follow-up, ensuring corrective actions are documented and tracked. Contribute to emergency preparedness activities and ensure readiness of response plans. Bachelors Degree in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), Risk Management, Industrial Hygiene, or Engineering Minimum 5 years of experience in Health & Safety roles on large infrastructure projects; Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Strong communication skills; Exhibit strong time management skills; High attention to detail and proactive approach to problem-solving; Demonstrate practical knowledge of current health and safety legislation. Proven experience in tunneling or underground works, preferably with TBM operations; Familiarity with safety management systems and incident reporting tools; Experience working on projects with high-risk environments (nuclear, offshore, or similar); Annual gross compensation ranging from CAD 60,000 to CAD 75,000, depending on experience and profile; 4 vacation weeks; Annual bonuse; Group Health Insurance (premium participation including virtual health care system); Wellness spending account; Career development opportunities; A cosmopolite and inclusive work environment; Attractive and challenging project. The Louis-Hippolyte La Fontaine Bridge-Tunnel Project includes a major structural overhaul, modernization of operating equipment, and redesign of service corridors, as well as the addition of fire protection. In addition to the tunnel work, the project also includes the construction of 25 kilometres of preferential traffic measures on Highway 20 to the Richelieu River, the reconstruction of Highway 25 concrete slabs in two directions (a total of 13 km of roadway), and structural repairs to the Souligny Interchange. The Confederation Line extension to Ottawa is a component of Phase 2 of the city's O-Train system, which includes the design, construction, and financing of a 27.5-kilometre light rail infrastructure. The work also includes 4 kilometres of cut-and-cover tunnels, 20 engineering structures, 16 stations, and a light maintenance facility. The Hampton Roads Bridge and Tunnel Extension is the largest highway construction project in Virginia history. This transformative project will widen the existing four-lane segments of the I-64 corridor for nearly 16 km in Norfolk and Hampton, with new twin tunnels crossing the harbor.

What is the project?
The Pickering Nuclear Generating Station refurbishment program involves designing and building a new deep-water intake in Lake Ontario to improve the plant's cooling system. This will involve :
- A5 km-long tunnel, built by a pressurized TBM (10.15 m diameter slurry TBM);
- Two vertical shafts (onshore and offshore);
- An offshore modular intake structure, resting on the lake bed.
The project is distinguished by its proximity to an active nuclear site, requiring rigorous standards of safety, planning and coordination.
