Job descriptionHigh school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary training in a related field (e.g. automotive technology) an asset 1-3 years of experience as a heavy-duty truck technician or equivalent experience in the Licensed 310T Truck & Coach Technician Valid G class drivers license with a good driving record. Must have necessary hand tools. Able to read and comprehend instructions and information. Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Up to $5000 of signing bonus for Qualified Technicians based on experience Competitive base wages Earn $2000 with our technician referral bonus program. Job Summary :
As a 310T Truck and Coach Technician you will be performing repairs and maintenance on medium
and heavy-duty trucks ensure that they are in safe and reliable working condition. If you have a
passion for trucks excellent mechanical skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction we want
to hear from you!
Responsibilities :
- Perform routine maintenance safeties and repairs on heavy-duty trucks including dieselengines transmissions brakes suspension systems and electrical systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot problems using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems
- Use manufacturers service manuals and technical data to repair and maintain vehicles
- Communicate with customers to explain work needed
- Work efficiently and effectively to meet tight deadlines and minimize downtime
- Attend company sponsored training classes and dealer specific training courses asscheduled by management
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve processes and reduce waste
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Other related duties as assigned
Requirements :

Experience with a range of medium and heavy trucks
Familiarity with computerized diagnostic equipment and software
Experience with fleet management software (e.g. Fleet Complete)
