Job description3–5 years of experience as a Health and Safety Coordinator in the construction industry; experience in roofing, waterproofing, cladding, and glazing is considered an asset Working knowledge of Fall protection, boom lift, swing stage and chemical use is considered an asset NCSO designation or working toward obtaining designation Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Nuance Working knowledge of SiteDocs safety management program Strong working knowledge of WorkSafeBC regulations, as well as other federal, provincial, and local legislation governing health and safety compliance In‑depth understanding of the Certificate of Recognition (COR) program; COR Internal Auditor certification is required Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to active construction sites Real opportunities to grow and advance A team that supports you like family Competitive benefits that grow with you Bi‑weekly pay you can count on Work on high‑profile, high‑impact projects

Base pay range : CA$70,000.00 / yr – CA$75,000.00 / yr

With more than 60,000 completed projects, we’re known for delivering high-quality, innovative and reliable building envelope solutions to commercial, industrial and institutional clients. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Health & Safety Coordinator to join our Health & Safety department.
What You’ll Do
- Support and promote a strong company-wide safety culture
- Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies, procedures, and programs
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety evaluations, documenting findings and corrective actions
- Assist with site‑specific safety plans such as Fall Protection, Emergency Response, and Hazard Assessments
- Partner with project management to ensure consistent on‑site safety practices
- Monitor subcontractor compliance with company safety standards
- Manage workplace incidents and WCB claims, including modified work programs
- Identify and address safety risks and trends to reduce incidents
- Maintain COR certification and support internal audits
- Participate in Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) meetings and follow up on action items
- Deliver in‑house safety training, including orientations and Working at Heights
- Record and analyze incidents, accidents, and safety statistics for continuous improvement
- Advise on regulations, occupational health, hazardous materials, and client‑specific safety requirements
- Maintain employee clearances and third‑party safety accreditations
- Perform other duties as required
