About the Role :
The Head of HR will lead a large globally distributed team through a matrix structure. They will have a chance to partner closely with the business to support significant transformation and change at an enterprise level. The Head of HR will have a mandate to enhance the organization’s HR function, particularly in the areas of talent development and succession planning and as it evolves its HR model to focus on strong execution of core HR operations, increased consistency and knowledge sharing across regions, and a strong connection to and partnership with the business. Above all, success will be predicated on the VP’s ability to build trust and credibility, an understanding of the business and organizational culture and ability to demonstrate value for the business.
Who You Are :
The ideal candidate is :
- A strategic business-focused HR leader with proven experience supporting significant organizational transformation and change.
- Experience in a large, matrix industrial / manufacturing / resources environment. International experience is ideal.
- Experience working in an operational or other roles outside of HR would be a significant asset.
- Alternatively, a broader business leader from another industrial / manufacturing / resources organization who has overseen elements of HR and / or large teams will also be of interest.
The position is based in Vancouver, BC and the base compensation range for this position is targeted between $250,000 – 325,000 plus bonus and benefits. The exact compensation range may vary depending on the candidate’s skills and experience.
