Ashley Canada is seeking a Temporary Merchandising Manager (12-18 month term) to work between both Winnipeg locations.

As a Merchandising Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the Brand’s corporate visual presentation standards at the store level and supporting the corporate marketing department as needed.

As a Merchandising Manager, you will :

Implement visual presentation direction from the corporate office;

Support the corporate marketing department in setting up Point of Purchase (POP) displays and other tasks;

Ensure merchandise displays meet corporate visual standards;

Maintain the showroom floor according to standards;

Update open transfer reports to align store flow with corporate direction;

Manage inventory control related to receiving, tagging, maintaining inventory, and resolving discrepancies;

Maintain clearance flow within budget;

Supervise visual team workload (Merchandiser / Porter);

Prepare and evaluate staff performance;

Handle recruitment, training, coaching, supervision, and discipline of staff.

Qualifications :

High school diploma;

At least two years of experience in retail visual presentation;

Strong aptitude for design, balance, and color;

Ability to work independently;

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn in-house programs;

Availability to work retail hours (weekdays, evenings, weekends).
