We are recruiting dedicated and experienced Registered Behaviour Technicians (RBTs) for part-time (up to 20 hrs / week) work in Toronto to be home-based Instructor Therapists. In this role, you will receive on-site mentoring and training from a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) as you work to teach meaningful skills to youth with autism using strategies based in applied behaviour analysis (ABA).
Job Details :
Clients range in age from 5 to 18.
Our approach and programming is individualized to each client and can range from play-based / naturalistic instruction to discrete trial teaching to precision teaching using relational frame theory programming.
We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn, dedicated to improving the quality of life of autistic youth and their family's and who can provide a minimum commitment of 6 months.
A degree in Autism and Behavioural Science or education specific to Applied Behaviour Analysis is an asset.
We require at least one year of experience working as an Instructor Therapist in the field.
