Job description
We are recruiting dedicated and experienced Registered Behaviour Technicians (RBTs) for part-time (up to 20 hrs / week) work in Toronto to be home-based Instructor Therapists. In this role, you will receive on-site mentoring and training from a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) as you work to teach meaningful skills to youth with autism using strategies based in applied behaviour analysis (ABA).
Job Details :
- Clients range in age from 5 to 18.
- Our approach and programming is individualized to each client and can range from play-based / naturalistic instruction to discrete trial teaching to precision teaching using relational frame theory programming.
- We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn, dedicated to improving the quality of life of autistic youth and their family's and who can provide a minimum commitment of 6 months.
- A degree in Autism and Behavioural Science or education specific to Applied Behaviour Analysis is an asset.
- We require at least one year of experience working as an Instructor Therapist in the field.
