About the Whistler Golf Club
Opened in 1983, the Whistler Golf Club is Arnold Palmer’s first Canadian design. Surrounded by spectacular snow‑capped mountain views and a commitment to exceptional course conditions, the Club delivers a truly Whistler brand of golf. The course is complemented by a six‑acre driving range and practice facility, located just steps from Whistler Village. Now entering an exciting new era, the Whistler Golf Club is midway through a comprehensive master plan renovation led by renowned architect Thad Layton, including the installation of a new, modern irrigation system. Following a successful deconstruction phase in Fall 2025, the course will remain closed throughout 2026, creating a rare opportunity to be deeply involved in a full‑scale course transformation and the preparation for the course’s highly anticipated relaunch in 2027. Recently re‑certified with Audubon International, the Whistler Golf Club is committed to environmental stewardship and maintaining a healthy relationship with the surrounding natural landscape and wildlife.

Starting Wage Range : $20 - $23 per hour. This is the starting wage for this role and may vary based on internal equity, and a candidate's job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent and Lead Hands, this role is responsible for supporting general maintenance within the Turf Department at the Whistler Golf Club. This summer marks an exciting season as the club undergoes a major golf course renovation. In addition to performing our annual cultural practices, team members will also support with the renovation, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to the course’s transformation.

Physical and Environmental Demands
Work is performed outdoors while exposed to all types of weather conditions, machinery with moving parts, loud noise, and irrigated water. This position requires physical endurance during periods of extreme weather conditions. While performing the duties of this job, you may also be required to frequently lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
