Your future duties and responsibilities :

Manage payments of various remittances to governments and other agencies within prescribed deadlines

Ensure accuracy and integrity of payments through various validations

Make necessary adjustments or corrections to agency payments

Balance and reconcile payments made

Act as a resource person with agencies to negotiate client situations

Provide assistance to operational team members

Participate in account analysis

Contribute to implementing new remittances or changes

Apply procedures and processes to maintain certifications for financial or operational controls (SOX, ISO, )

Required qualifications to be successful in this role :

Demonstrates rigor, attention to detail, autonomy, and good priority management

Strong analytical skills

Good communication skills

AEC in accounting or related field

1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general IT tools

Ability to work in a team and develop expertise

Interest in continuous improvement and process optimization

Payroll knowledge (a strong asset)
