Position Description :

Today we are seeking multiple dedicated and experienced Site Superintendents to join our team for the development of multi-residential apartment buildings in Ottawa. In addition to the duties typically expected of a Site Superintendent, as the successful incumbent you will be responsible to :

• Manage and oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project schedules.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager, highlighting any issues or delays and proposing solutions.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship meets quality standards and project specifications.
• Manage and resolve any on-site conflicts or issues that may arise during construction.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with local building codes, regulations, and zoning laws.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
• Foster a positive working environment and build strong relationships with all project stakeholders.

We are an on-site crew 5 days a week. We sometimes work late to make sure we meet our deliverables, so the ability to work flexible and irregular hours is required. However, we do respect your work / life balance too.
