Job Description

We are looking for a talented GIS Specialist to join our dynamic team. You will work collaboratively to deliver solutions to our internal and external clients using an ESRI Enterprise environment as part of Stantec’s Environmental Services Geospatial team, which includes over 160 geospatial specialists. The role focuses on identifying client needs and proposing optimal geospatial technologies and solutions that meet business objectives.

Flexible / Hybrid work environment : 2-3 days per week in office.

Stantec’s Environmental Services Group supports Clients across sectors including Mining, Municipal, Provincial / State and Federal Governments, Transportation, Infrastructure Development, Power, and Oil and Gas. The team provides Geospatial Solutions and Mapping Services for a wide range of projects such as :

• Environmental assessments and permitting
• Water resource and infrastructure planning
• Infrastructure management
• Wildlife and habitat monitoring
• Archaeological and heritage studies
• Air and noise monitoring
• Site selection and routing studies

Pay Transparency

In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part‑time roles will be pro‑rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
