Our large, manufacturing client is looking to add on an FP&A Analyst to their team. To be successful in this role, you will bring experience from a manufacturing environment and thrive in a collaborative, detail-oriented, and fast-paced setting. This position is a hybrid role based in Brampton, Ontario, and will report directly to the Manager FP&A. You will play a key role in the finance team, working closely with plant managers and operational staff to analyze manufacturing operations, support forecasting and budgeting processes, and ensure month-end financial activities are accurately accounted for.

Please note : this position requires you to be in Ontario and in the local area, as this is a hybrid position.

Hybrid work model Responsibilities :

Develop and deliver detailed financial reports and performance analyses to assess manufacturing operations. This includes production data, labor and material variances, SLOB analysis, and overall expense management across plant and warehouse functions.

Collaborate closely with operations managers to provide ongoing updates and insights into forecasting, including tracking current performance, identifying emerging trends, and adjusting projections to support strategic decision-making.

Work with the finance team to ensure all operational transactions are accurately recorded during the month-end close process, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards and proper accruals for all operational activities.

Review and maintain capital project data, ensuring it aligns with capitalization guidelines and updating CapEx schedules as necessary. Partner with the tooling and sales teams to manage tooling amortization schedules during the month-end close.

Contribute to the development and preparation of the annual operational budget, supporting the Manager FP&A and Financial Controller in updating key budget schedules and making financial adjustments based on operational forecasts.

Support the annual physical inventory process and assist with external audits, ensuring that all inventory and financial data is accurately represented and compliant with internal standards.

Ensure robust internal control systems are in place to safeguard financial data and maintain accounting integrity. Provide backup support across various finance roles as needed. Qualifications :
