Position Summary

The Sales Manager is a key driver of Diamond Game's success in Ontario's Charitable Gaming industry. This dynamic role combines hands-on customer and staff engagement with strategic sales leadership, ensuring the company's products and services deliver value to clients and meet company goals.

The position requires regular travel to all customer locations across Ontario to build relationships, drive sales, and provide tailored advice. Responsibilities include reviewing game mix summaries, analyzing gaming data, and offering educated recommendations to maximize revenue. The Sales Manager will spearhead game conversions, lead floor plan projects, and manage project preparation and submissions to our customers.

This role also supports marketing initiatives by reviewing and enhancing existing programs and providing innovative ideas to better promote Diamond Game's products. Attendance at trade shows and industry events is essential, involving sales, marketing, and networking activities to strengthen Diamond Game's market presence.

Customer and staff engagement are critical aspects of this role. The Sales Manager ensures a positive customer experience by addressing concerns, providing timely resolutions, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders. Similarly, the role involves fostering a productive and motivated team environment, aligning internal staff efforts with customer expectations and operational goals.

By combining strategic oversight with active fieldwork, this position ensures the successful execution of sales, marketing, and operational initiatives, making it integral to Diamond Game's regional growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sales and Revenue Growth
  • Oversee and drive sales activities within the designated Ontario region.
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to highlight the benefits of Diamond Game's cabinets, games and associated products.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including site owners and managers, to secure sales opportunities and long-term partnerships.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing to meet customer needs and ensure market profitability.
  • Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to adapt sales strategies.

Customer Service and Support

  • Maximize customer satisfaction
  • Predict customer issues and proactively recommend game conversions, product needs, and promotional and marketing initiatives
  • Provide exceptional customer service by resolving inquiries and issues professionally and promptly.
  • Coordinate product installations, training, and post-sale support to ensure smooth customer experience
  • Sales Reporting and Analytics

  • Prepare and analyze sales reports, performance data, and market trends using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Accurately track sales metrics to report achievements, forecasts, and regional targets.
  • Provide insights and feedback to marketing and product teams to refine sales and product strategies.
  • Team Collaboration and Leadership

  • Collaborate with internal teams to align sales efforts with company objectives.
  • Attending industry events to expand professional networks and represent the company.
  • Ensure compliance with all gaming-related regulations and standards.
  • Consistently demonstrate the ability to practice Diamond Game's core values and apply them
  • Perform other tasks and duties as needed and / or requested by management.
  • Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's or college degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience, including 3 years in a regional or territory management role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth.
  • Experience in the charitable gaming industry or familiarity with gaming operations is an asset.
  • Knowledge and Abilities Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting data and making strategic decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Basic understanding of financial statements and invoicing processes.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Capacity to travel regularly within the region
  • Must have a valid, unrestricted Class G license.
  • Regulatory Requirements

  • Employment dependent on successfully passing a regulatory background check.
  • This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations in Ontario, Canada.
  • Employees may also be subject to additional periodic background checks as needed and / or required by Diamond Game and / or Diamond Game customers.
