What You Will Bring To The Team

Provincial Property Management, part of the Provincial Commercial Real Estate group, manages a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, and healthcare properties across Atlantic Canada. We pride ourselves on responsive service, proactive property care, and strong tenant relationships.

We are looking for a hands-on Property Manager / Maintenance Manager Coordinator to lead our team of maintenance professionals. This role is primarily based in Charlottetown, PEI, but will provide support and oversight for staff and projects in New Brunswick and Newfoundland as well.

In addition to what makes you unique, there are a few basics that we require for this role :

  • Previous experience in property management, facilities management, or maintenance supervision.
  • Ability to balance leadership responsibilities with occasional hands-on work.
  • Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural) an asset.
  • Strong organizational, scheduling, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing budgets, contracts, and project timelines.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to NB & NL as required.

Your role

You'll contribute by :

  • Team Leadership & Coordination
  • Supervise and support maintenance staff across PEI, NB & NL.
  • Build schedules, delegate tasks, and monitor progress to ensure efficiency.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and accountability for team members.
  • Maintenance & Repairs
  • Oversee daily maintenance requests, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs.
  • Occasionally perform hands-on maintenance or troubleshooting where needed.
  • Conduct property inspections and ensure compliance with safety and building codes.
  • Project & Vendor Management
  • Coordinate larger repairs, renovations, and capital projects with contractors.
  • Source and negotiate quotes, manage project budgets, and oversee completion.
  • Maintain strong vendor and supplier relationships.
  • Administrative & Reporting
  • Track and prioritize maintenance requests across all regions.
  • Prepare reports on property conditions, expenses, and capital needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, warranties, and service contracts.
