We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Front Desk Attendant to be the welcoming face of our events and handle various responsibilities, including handling payments, merchandise sales, and providing information to attendees. The Front Desk Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for participants and maintaining organized operations.
Responsibilities :
Handle payments via cash, e-transfer, and Clover POS system accurately and efficiently.
Stamp all spectators after payment and verify access of each individual coming on and off courts.
Administration and tracking of weekend passes.
Tracking of all game day cash in NPH Money Count Sheet before and after collection.
Direct coaches, players, and spectators to correct the court based on schedule.
Direct spectators to the washroom, other areas of facility, and NPH lead team if need be.
Ensure you have a functioning laptop for processing payments and maintaining records.
Sell merchandise and food items, including water, and accurately track sales in the provided Excel sheet.
Familiarize families with any company wide apps and provide any necessary assistance.
Assist with collecting waivers and verifying player eligibility as required.
Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area, keeping it neat and presentable.
Responsible for setup and tear down of working area
Qualifications :
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Basic proficiency with computers and software, including Microsoft Excel.
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Prior experience in customer service or event-related roles is a plus.
