Our client, a global leader in pharmaceutical manufacturing solutions, providing end-to-end products and services to the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries, is looking for a Territory Sales Manager located in Ontario or Quebec, to help manage and grow the Nutraceutical market segment in Canada for the hard capsule business. This company has a lot to offer in terms of a competitive base salary, plus sales incentives.Job DescriptionThe Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and expanding the company’s hard capsule business within Canada’s nutraceutical market segment. This role involves developing relationships with both existing and new customers to achieve sales targets and grow market share. The incumbent will report customer interactions, sales activities, and market insights to management while maintaining accurate CRM data. Additionally, the role requires monitoring market conditions and competitive activities to support strategic decision-making.The Territory Sales Manager will work closely with Customer Service Representatives, Sales Managers, Field Service Engineers, Quality Personnel, and Business Development teams to ensure customer needs are met and regional sales objectives are achieved.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive market leadership and expand business share in the assigned territory.Develop and execute an annual sales budget to meet revenue targets.Establish, maintain, and grow the customer base within the nutraceutical segment.Identify and pursue new business opportunities, assessing sales potential and developing commercial strategies.Engage with R&D and marketing teams of dietary supplement brands to understand and support their product development needs.Implement pricing strategies and manage customer credit limits and collections.Develop and optimize an efficient sales network to enhance business performance.Conduct regular customer visits to drive sales and business development efforts.Represent ACG at trade shows and industry conventions to support marketing and networking initiatives.Collect and analyze customer data, including usage of volumes, machinery, and production capabilities, to enhance market intelligence.Build multi-level relationships within key customer organizations to strengthen long-term partnerships.Organize client meetings, events, and engagements to reinforce business relationships.Collaborate with senior management to enhance customer engagement and supplier partnerships.Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to provide market intelligence and recommend strategies for improved market positioning.Ensure CRM systems are consistently updated with accurate customer data and sales documentation.Develop quarterly rolling forecasts for both existing and new products, providing regular reports on achievements, market trends, and strategic insights.Maintain weekly activity reports, logging customer interactions and business developments in the CRM system.Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on business needs, with clear alignment between the incumbent, reporting manager, and HR.Key Result AreasSales Volume – Target, Growth % year on yearSales Revenue – Target, Growth % year on yearRepeat order RateCustomer Retention RateConversion Rate (% of new leads converted in that territory)% of Sales and Revenue generated from new productsQualificationsB.Sc. or equivalent3 – 5 years in B2B Sales and / or Business DevelopmentWillingness to travel across Canada (Minimum 50% of the time)Bilingual -Fluent in English with working knowledge of FrenchSend your resume by email : [email protected] Consulting is a growth-oriented organization determined to enable our people to realize their potential.
