Job description
Cella by Randstad Digital is partnering with a leading financial and insurance organization to recruit a talented Content Writer / Coordinator for a dynamic, hybrid opportunity based in downtown Toronto. In this role, you will act as a key content owner, managing a centralized request pipeline and crafting compelling, clear, and client-facing content. You will turn complex product information into persuasive, plain-language copy that highlights our client’s unique value proposition.

This is a time-sensitive, contract position running from July 13 to December 18, 2026, with a hybrid work schedule requiring 1–2 days per week onsite. Opportunities like this move quickly—apply promptly today by submitting your resume and a portfolio or writing samples that demonstrate your professional impact!

Advantages
Professional Networking: Gain high visibility and connect with internal stakeholders across a major organization.

Career Growth: High performers have distinct pathways to explore further opportunities within the company.

Collaborative Culture: Work within a supportive, growth-oriented team environment that values proactive contributions.

Great Work-Life Balance: Enjoy predictable, daytime business hours with only 1-2 days onsite.

Responsibilities
Content Creation & Editing: Write, edit, and update external, client-facing content to ensure it is accurate, on-brand, and written in highly persuasive plain language.

Inbox & Pipeline Management: Monitor and manage all incoming content requests through a centralized inbox and a proposal content management tool.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate content reviews, translations, and alignment with internal partners, including legal reviewers and subject matter experts (SMEs).

Tool Advocacy & Training: Manage user licenses, process improvements, and training for internal teams utilizing the proposal management software (Loopio).

Process Improvement: Proactively identify and implement workflows that drive time and cost efficiencies for the broader team.

Ad Hoc Projects: Support strategic proposal content, manage kick-off meetings, and contribute to various writing initiatives as required.

Qualifications
Experience: 2+ years of professional writing and editing experience.

Language Skills: Full bilingual fluency in English and French, with the proven ability to write and edit professionally in both languages.

Technical Proficiency: Strong Microsoft 365 skills and comfort adapting to dedicated content platforms (such as Loopio).

Advanced Craft: Exceptional copywriting, line-editing, and proofreading capabilities.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

Excellent project and time management skills, with the ability to navigate frequent interruptions and tight deadlines.

Strong relationship-building and critical-thinking skills to motivate collaborators and solve problems using data and insights.

A self-motivated, proactive mindset with an exceptional eye for detail under pressure.

Nice-to-Have Skills:
Prior experience writing within the group benefits, insurance, or financial services industries.

Summary
If you are a curious, proactive communicator who excels at translating technical data into persuasive, sales-minded B2B copy, we want to hear from you. This role offers an incredible platform to showcase your talent, refine your skills, and build a powerful professional network.

Please note that the interview process will include two rounds of interviews and a practical writing assessment designed to test your ability to rewrite digital content into clear, concise, and proposal-ready language. Don't wait—submit your application, resume, and writing samples today to be considered for this exciting opportunity!
