Our client is an awardwinning creative studio with a rich history working with some of the most prominent entertainment companies.
Role Overview :
We are seeking a talented and experienced Unreal Artist to join our creative team on a shortterm freelance contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in using Unreal Engine for both VFX and commercial / shortform production pipelines. You will collaborate closely with designers developers and production teams to deliver visually stunning highperformance assets and environments. A blend of strong technical and artistic skills is ideal.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and create realtime assets environments and visual effects within Unreal Engine.
- Optimize assets for performance while maintaining visual quality.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration into VFX and game pipelines.
- Implement lighting shading and postprocessing techniques to achieve cinematic quality.
- Utilize tools such as Blueprints for animation and interactivity where necessary.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues within Unreal Engine workflows.
- Be aware of uptodate with the latest Unreal Engine advancements and best practices.
Qualifications :
Technical Skills :
Proficiency in working with assets using tools like Maya Houdini Substance Painter / Designer or ZBrush.
Artistic Skills :
A keen eye for detail composition and color.
Pipeline Knowledge :
Understanding VFX workflows including asset importing / exporting and scene management.
