As a Senior Data Analyst in Enterprise Data and Analytics team, you will play a pivotal role in this transformation. You’ll lead key activities analyzing complex scientific datasets, map key business processes, conduct deep dive analyses and create insight-driven solutions. The Enterprise Data & Analytics team is at the forefront of transformative work, driving innovation through data across the organization. Our mission is to enable smarter decision-making by deeply understanding the scientific business processes that support non-clinical research studies.
In this role, primary responsibilities include :
- Engage Business Stakeholders at all levels to identify requirements for current and future products through ongoing interaction;
- Analyze complex datasets using SQL Server to identify patterns, detect anomalies, and uncover embedded business rules;
- Lead requirements workshops and User Acceptance Testing for new data, products and analytics solutions;
- Analyze business processes and develop business flow diagrams and data flow diagrams to support system design and optimization;
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery;
- Create compelling visualizations and dashboards to communicate key insights and trends;
- Data Profiling, mining, and data validation / testing to ensure data is fit for use by the business;
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and present results in a clear and user-friendly manner;
- Build strong business relationships that foster a collaborative and trusting approach and partnership;
- Act as scrum master for the team and prepare detailed stories for developers.

About Safety Assessment
Charles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services, state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance. From individual specialty toxicology and IND enabling studies to tailored packages and total laboratory support, our deeply experienced team can design and execute programs that anticipate challenges and avoid roadblocks for a smooth, efficient journey to market.
