Job descriptionEnforce and adhere to the codes of the Employee Handbook. Ensure the plant environment is kept tidy and safe. Ensure the company complies with all Federal, Provincial, and Municipal Laws in all actions carried out by the Forklift Driver. Retrieve skids. Organize finished goods to ensure easy access and transit space. Keep client stock in correct bays (e.g., DSC). Remove skids not being used. Transport scrap cardboard to the bailer. Maintain tow motor equipment. Previous experience in a leadership role is an asset. Ability to instruct, direct, and motivate employees. Proven ability to build trust and confidence with management and employees. A minimum of 2 years of experience in the corrugated industry and operating equipment. Good working knowledge of company machine capabilities. Certification / Diploma / Degree in a related field (preferred). Knowledge of Health and Safety policies, procedures, and the Occupational Health & Safety Act as provided by the company. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Leadership and expertise in promoting buy-in to proposed solutions. Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels. Strong organizational skills and ability to set priorities.
