Join GSL, a growing company that trades and coordinates the transportation of grains and cereals across North America. We’re looking for someone to join our Vancouver grain team for a 6-month apprenticeship, with the potential to grow into a Junior Grain Trader.
What you’ll do during this apprenticeship :
- Work closely with experienced grain traders, gaining hands-on insights into the grain trading process.
- Manage data systems and perform insightful business analyses to support our operations.
- Collaborate with traders to handle claims and resolve business challenges.
- Assist in maintaining company certifications and preparing compliance reports.
- Help manage the accounting for purchase and sales orders, ensuring smooth follow-up with suppliers and clients.
- Support logistics coordination to ensure timely and efficient transport of goods.
- Engage in cold calling and prospecting to generate leads and build a strong sales pipeline.
