Overview

Clinical Psychology Services (CPS) is a community clinic in Edmonton that provides care to individuals experiencing complex mental health and concurrent substance use disorders. The clinic is located in the Garneau neighbourhood and offers diagnostic assessment, psychotherapy, group treatment, and service planning. The role is part of a multidisciplinary team that collaborates with psychiatrists, therapists, and other allied health providers across the continuum of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced clinical services including psychological assessment, diagnosis, and evidence‑based psychotherapy to clients with complex and multi‑dimensional needs.
• Consult, collaborate, and lead initiatives to ensure practices align with psychology standards of practice, code of ethics, policy, legislation, and regulations.
• Lead, facilitate, and participate in program, policy, and procedure development, service planning, staff development, quality improvement, and evaluation activities.
• Supervise doctoral level residents, master’s level interns, provisional psychologists, psychometrists, and other team members as appropriate.
