Work environment
The CSC is hiring licenced Psychologists.
As a Psychologist within our department, you will work as an autonomous health provider in a dynamic, evidence-based multidisciplinary practice offering essential psychological services to a diverse patient profile. We need you for important work at our facilities in the Prairie Region located in urban, semi-urban and rural locations in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. You will be called on to address the mental health needs of offenders and services related to their reintegration into society. Our team of over 300 Psychologists is world-renowned for their contributions to correctional research.

EDUCATION
Graduation with a master’s degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in clinical, forensic or counseling psychology.
OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION
Registered / Licensed as a Psychologist for autonomous practice by a provincial registering / licensing body.
EXPERIENCE
Experience in the provision of psychological services (including mental health services), such as assessment, counseling or other psychological services with adults, either to groups or individuals.

EDUCATION
Doctorate from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in clinical, forensic or counseling psychology.
OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION
Registration for autonomous practice of psychology by the provincial registering / licensing body in the province of practice.
EXPERIENCE
Experience in the provision of psychological services in forensic / correctional settings.
Experience in providing psychological services to diverse population.
Experience in providing culturally sensitive interventions.
Experience diagnosing mental disorders.
