Job descriptionBachelor’s degree or College Diploma in nutrition, food science, quality assurance and control or a related discipline. Interest in food / natural health products / pharmaceuticals is an advantage. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Motivated, positive attitude and an attention to detail necessary.
Job Description
Responsibilities :
- Examine ingredients or finished products to ensure conformance to company standards;
- Check products and packaging for basic quality defects, verify accuracy and completeness of data;
- Performing various in-line quality control checks;
- Take samples of products at various stages of processing;
- Conduct quality audits and assist in the development of quality management and quality assurance standards;
- Perform data entry and record keeping. Regular filing and document management;
- Provide assistance in testing and analysis of packaged food products;
- Check and monitor product quality;
- Daily review of production records, quality records and training records for accuracy;
- Operating the laboratory equipment and performing regular maintenance as required;
- Conduct routine tests for product specifications, Grade and label raw materials or finished products;
- Ensure hygiene and sanitation practices conform to policies and regulations.
