Food Services Manager – Long-Term Care

Schlegel Villages is looking for an experienced Food Services Manager to lead the food services department in long‑term care settings across our Village of Taunton Mills. The role focuses on ensuring dietary and nutritional needs of residents are met while maintaining exceptional cleanliness and compliance with health regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership in the preparation and serving of food for residents.
- Maintain the food services department in a clean and safe manner, exceeding standards prescribed by Public Health and Ministry of Health inspections.
- Ensure diet and nutritional requirements of all residents are met and conduct regular assessments.
- Plan and support catering functions, create an enhanced dining experience, and manage purchasing, scheduling, and payroll duties.
- Lead and inspire a large food services team in a unionized environment.
