  • Lead the manufacturing readiness processes (MRA or PDP), including identifying, involving, and motivating cross functions members to execute all pre-production activities.
  • Conduct virtual design reviews with Manufacturing concurrent to the design process.
  • Identify and document design errors through NFI SWATs or project issues logs for correction.

  • Verify routings for existing installations meet the latest expectations from Production.
  • Facilitate launch team meetings in each assembly station during the first pilot build and post issues on traveling visibility board.
  • Aid in identifying design errors for correction through design reviews during pilot and lead bus production.
  • Identify and repair systems or processes that are dysfunctional, opaque or threaten the successful completion of project timeline, quality, or budget.
  • Drive an ongoing effort to create and evolve process capability rather than inspection.
  • Participate in Change Control Board (CCB) to ensure the voice of manufacturing is considered when making design or supplier changes.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL :

  • University degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
