Job Title : Production Operator- Afternoons

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Production Operator for the afternoon shift to setup, maintain, and troubleshoot production line machinery. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of filling, bottling, capping, and labelling machinery by performing setup and changeovers, making necessary adjustments, and conducting minor repairs using hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Setup and changeover production line machines including filling, bottling, capping, and labelling machinery.
• Troubleshoot and maintain machinery by adjusting heights, widths, knob speeds, and capper strength.
• Use hand tools such as wrenches, allen keys, channel locks, and mallets to perform minor repairs.
• Check output to stop any machine-related flaws.
• Maintain activity logs regarding downtime and quality of product.

Work Environment

This position involves working straight shifts with training provided on set shifts. Onboarding allows for two people per shift each week. The work environment is temperature controlled, very clean, and organized, with a faint smell of soap. Employees must wear a lab coat (provided), long pants, and steel-toed boots. The shifts are as follows : Day shift (7am-3 : 15pm), Afternoon shift (3pm-11 : 15pm) with a $0.50 premium, and Night shift (11pm-7 : 15am) with a $1.00 premium.
