Our mission is to uphold the highest standards of excellence in all areas of hospitality. The club boasts a vibrant racing program, a bustling patio and bar, and live entertainment every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Qualifications for the Food & Beverage Manager Position at Mimico Cruising Club :
Education and Experience :
A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in food and beverage operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Experience in private club operations is an asset.
Leadership and Management :
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
Hospitality and Member-Focused :
A commitment to delivering exceptional service to members and guests.
Operational Expertise :
Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage service, menu planning, and event execution.
Technology Proficiency :
Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems, reservation software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Problem-Solving and Innovation :
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism.
Availability and Flexibility :
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required to oversee events and operations.
Certifications :
Smart Serve certification or equivalent is mandatory.
