JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work intermittently in cold and / or warm, damp environments.
- Must be able to work in a self directed environment
- Be able to manage a work schedule, which is subject to change.
- Lift and dump 50 lb bags of ingredients into the various additive tanks.
- Manage the inventory of the above mentioned, other ingredients, and cleaning materials.
- Complete the solutions of aging and surge tanks.
- Change germ bath solutions weekly in chip cellars.
- Collect Budweiser and aging beer samples, as required, for analysis by the lab.
- Maintain an exemplary standard of housekeeping which may include maneuvering yourself into tight spaces, i.e. under, behind, on top of, and / or in –between vessels.
- Dumping of garbage carts.
- Maintain neat and accurate records.
- Learn the use of a DO (Dissolved Oxygen) meter.
- Undertake light maintenance duties.
- Sterilize, spread and / or remove spent chips from the BUD tanks. This requires the operator to crawl through a tank man-way onto a slippery surface to complete the various tasks in this process.
- Provide confined space entrant and / or attendant coverage for the chip room operator when required.
- Demonstrate ability to learn RS View and other software used in Bud Process.
- Good decision making skills based on the feedback from information provided by the PLC interface and other related information.
- Good communication skills (written and oral) in order to communicate Bud / Aging process.
- Other duties as assigned by Brewing Managers
