We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Buildings Commissioning Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commissioning all building systems with an expertise in electrical systems considered a strong asset. The ideal candidate can demonstrate expertise in verifying building systems perform efficiently and effectively. This position plays a critical role in supporting sustainable building operations, optimizing energy efficiency, and ensuring high-performance standards across various building systems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct commissioning activities for building systems, with a strong understanding of electrical systems (e.g., lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, and security systems).
• Review design documents, construction plans, and system specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements and best practices.
• Perform site inspections to assess installation quality and adherence to electrical system standards.
• Develop and implement commissioning plans, including testing procedures, schedules, and reporting.
• Coordinate with contractors, designers, and building owners to identify and resolve issues during the commissioning process.
• Test and verify the performance of building systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical) to verify they meet project performance criteria.
• Document and track commissioning activities, providing comprehensive reports detailing system performance, deficiencies, and recommended corrective actions.
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting issues and optimizing building system performance.
• Collaborate on energy efficiency initiatives and sustainability goals through building system evaluations and retro-commissioning efforts.
• Participate in post-occupancy evaluations to ensure continued system functionality and performance.

Preferred Qualifications :

Preferred Experience : Electrical systems background preferred, holding a valid commissioning designation (e.g. CBCP, CCP, BCxP, etc.), commissioning hospital systems, and existing building commissioning.
