Please note this role will work in a hybrid environment. The successful candidate will be working at our Ottawa head office (1800 Alta Vista Drive) and will be working a mixture of on-site and off-site work based on the parameters for our operations to meet the needs of our donors our staff and our communities. Currently employees are expected to have an in-person presence for at least 40% of their work time. This requirement may vary depending upon circumstances.

About the role

Canadian Blood Services is looking for a (3-Year) Temporary Full-Time Manager Financial Reporting to join our dynamic Financial Reporting and Services team in our Finance and Corporate Services division.

The Financial Reporting and Services t eam delivers timely high-quality financial reporting to Canadians the Board and funders supporting transparency public trust and effective financial management. It safeguards public funds by ensuring the integrity accuracy and compliance of financial systems processes and reporting.

The Manager Financial Reporting will combine technical accounting expertise with strong leadership and collaboration skills to ensure transparency accuracy and excellence in our external financial reporting.

In this key leadership position you will oversee the planning organization and delivery of external financial reporting activities for Canadian Blood Services. Your work will directly support our accountability to a wide range of stakeholders including provincial and territorial governments our Board of Directors and the Canadian public.
