Job descriptionAnalyzing and interpreting sales and market data, identifying trends and opportunities, and deliver insights to support strategic decision‑making. Preparing sales forecast and price points with the internal sales team to ensure that the company has sufficient inventory levels. Maintaining and analyzing the procurement plan (forecast, sales plan, safety stock) and providing recommendations to maximize sales and improve accuracy. Generating reports for product categories for Canon Canada assigned product lines. Conducting market research and analyzing competitor pricing and positioning to inform procurement and sales strategies. Providing insights on customer behaviour, product performance, and market dynamics. Providing support to develop and maintain budget plans during key financial periods. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and making recommendations. Post‑secondary education in Business Administration or Finance. Minimum of 3 years of work experience. Strong analytical skills to analyze forecasting, pricing, and competitive market data to offer solutions. Advanced computer skills to use VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and IF statements in Excel. Experience in SQL, Python, and Power BI. Effective time management and multitasking skills to meet deadlines and submit forecasts to Canon Japan. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate across departments. A detailed‑oriented and assertive approach to accountability. We offer a Hybrid work schedule. You will be in the office Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays each week, and can work from home for the remainder of the week (subject to specific business needs requiring office attendance).
