As a key player in the financial services marketplace of Northern Ontario we are seeking a temporary, full-time Commercial Credit Officer to provide comprehensive, high‑quality commercial services and lending support to the Commercial Sales Group, including the Operations Manager, branches, members and third parties. The position carries a high level of responsibility and attention to detail to ensure that verification of security documentation, policy compliance and terms / conditions of credit have been met prior to advance of funds, referring any irregularities to the Director of Credit. A high degree of professionalism and tactfulness is required in liaising with members, internal / external customers and third parties.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant college or university degree and
• 2 years related experience in commercial lending, consumer credit or bookkeeping
• Knowledge of commercial lending processes, policies and procedures
• Exceptional organization, time management and attention to detail
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Access
