At Klue, We’re Building the Future of Competitive Intelligence
Your role as our Financial Analyst
The Financial Analyst plays a key role in keeping our Finance Department, and thus Klue, running smoothly. Our goal is to translate complex financial data into a clear story, providing the timely insights that guide our long‑term strategy and optimize day‑to‑day performance. We do this by ensuring we have the right tools that enable our small‑but‑mighty team to get the job done. This role helps make that happen.
You’ll work closely with the Controller and Senior Accountant to support the day‑to‑day operations that keep our team effective, from owning the accounts payable function to forecasting operating expenses. You’ll also get hands‑on exposure to the projects and programs that shape our multi‑product future.
This is a role for someone who’s eager to learn, proactive, and willing to jump out of your lane. If you are looking to just build Excel models, then stop reading here. We are a startup, and stepping outside of your lane is common and expected. To start, you’ll balance execution with learning, building a solid foundation in the expense side of the finance function. From there you will move into the revenue and SaaS metrics side.
What’s In It for You?
This role is both a learning opportunity and a chance to make an impact. You’ll gain hands‑on experience across finance, build confidence in understanding the flow of money through a SaaS company, and help shape our exciting future as we look to leverage our positive momentum within the market.
If you excel in this role, there’s room to grow, potentially into a FP&A Manager role.
What You’ll Do
- Accounts Payable : Own the start‑to‑finish process for all non‑payroll spend. Tracking expenditures, managing AP inboxes, processing credit card transactions, and running our employee spend platform, Float. You’ll keep approvals organized and payments moving efficiently across Float Cards, Bill Pay, Reimbursements, and bank transfers.
- Expense Forecasting : Keep our operating expense forecasts accurate and aligned with reality. Maintain financial models within Drivetrain, ensure prepaid expenses are reflected correctly, and partner with cross‑functional teams to forecast new initiatives. You’ll build models that tie spend to usage‑based revenue, helping us manage burn with precision.
- Month‑End Excellence : Drive smooth month‑end closes by ensuring all expense transactions are reconciled, exported, and supported on time. Manage adjusting entries and working papers for prepaids, PPE amortization, and accruals, then dig into variance analysis to flag insights and refine forecasts.
- FP&A & Reporting : Be a key player in turning numbers into insight. Compile quarterly metrics for board reporting, support SaaS KPI tracking (like CAC and Sales Efficiency), and provide financial commentary to help leadership make informed decisions. Jump into ad‑hoc analysis to uncover trends and competitive insights.
What Success Looks Like
You’ll know you’re crushing it when Finance is running smoothly, forecasts are accurate, and your insights directly influence business decisions.
What You Bring

Nice‑to‑Haves :
Not ticking every box? That’s okay. We take potential into consideration. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of the specifics listed above. If you know you have what it takes, even if that’s different from what we’ve described, be sure to explain why in your application.
At Klue, we're committed to building a high‑performing team where people feel a strong sense of belonging, can be their authentic selves, and are able to reach their full potential. If there’s anything we can do to make our hiring process more accessible or to better support you, please let us know, we’re happy to accommodate.
Why Klue Might Be the Perfect Fit For You
At Klue, you’ll push the boundaries of what’s possible. For yourself, your team, and our customers. The environment here feels more startup than corporate. You’ll roll up your sleeves, build, iterate, and level up. This is a place where your ideas matter, you can shape what comes next, and leave your mark.
If you’re looking to join a category‑defining company… you own big outcomes, influence real customers, and work with smart, gritty people… you’ll thrive here.
Unlock Your Potential. Take Risks. Take Action. Innovate
