L’environnement de travail

Notre client évolue dans un contexte manufacturier multi-sites , où la rigueur financière, l’analyse des coûts et la collaboration étroite avec les opérations sont essentielles. Ce rôle est terrain, concret et orienté exécution , offrant une forte exposition aux opérations de production et aux décisions d’affaires.

Vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec les équipes des usines et la direction financière afin de soutenir deux sites manufacturiers, particulièrement au niveau de la clôture financière, de l’analyse des écarts et du suivi de la performance opérationnelle.

Les responsabilités

Clôture financière et comptabilité (deux sites)

Préparer et comptabiliser les écritures mensuelles, incluant :

Ajustements d’inventaire et de travaux en cours (WIP)

Écarts de fabrication (prix, usage, main-d’œuvre, frais généraux)

Charges à payer et frais payés d’avance

Écritures intercompagnies, au besoin

Participer aux clôtures de fin de mois, de trimestre et d’année selon les échéanciers corporatifs

Préparer et maintenir les conciliations de bilan liées aux activités manufacturières

Assurer le respect des politiques comptables, contrôles internes et exigences d’audit

Soutenir les audits internes et externes (analyses, documentation)

Analyse manufacturière et des coûts

Analyser les coûts standards versus réels et expliquer les écarts avec une approche « cause racine »

Suivre les inventaires, le WIP, la ferraille, les rendements et l’absorption sur les deux sites

Soutenir la mise à jour et la validation des coûts standards

Travailler en partenariat avec les équipes des opérations pour identifier les leviers d’amélioration

Suivre et analyser les indicateurs clés de performance (KPI) :

Coût par unité

Efficacité de la main-d’œuvre

Rebuts et retouches

Rotation des stocks

Rapports et soutien aux opérations

Préparer les rapports mensuels de performance manufacturière pour les deux sites

Assurer la cohérence et la comparabilité des données financières entre les sites

Participer aux exercices de budgétisation et de prévisions

Réaliser des analyses ad hoc pour soutenir la prise de décision

Contribuer à l’amélioration continue des outils et processus de reporting (ERP, Excel, Power BI)

Les qualifications requises

Formation et expérience

Baccalauréat en comptabilité ou en finance

3 à 5 ans d’expérience en finance manufacturière, comptabilité de coûts ou comptabilité d’usine

Expérience concrète en écritures comptables et clôture de fin de mois

Expérience en environnement multi-sites ou complexe (atout)

Titre CPA ou en voie d’obtention (atout)

Bilinguisme français / anglais

Compétences techniques

Excellente compréhension des principes de finance manufacturière :

Comptabilité de coûts et coûts standards

Inventaires et travaux en cours (WIP)

Comptabilité d’exercice

Maîtrise avancée d’Excel (tableaux croisés dynamiques, analyses d’écarts)

Expérience avec des systèmes ERP (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, NetSuite ou équivalent)

Power BI ou outils de visualisation (atout)

The Work Environment

Our client operates in a manufacturing environment with multiple sites , where operational efficiency, financial rigor, and collaboration with Operations are key. This role is hands-on and execution-focused, offering strong exposure to plant-level finance, cost analysis, and operational decision support.

You will work closely with site leadership and Operations teams, supporting two manufacturing locations and playing a critical role in month-end close, cost control, and performance reporting.

Your Responsibilities

Month-End Close & Accounting (Two Sites)

Prepare and post monthly journal entries, including inventory, WIP, manufacturing variances, accruals, and prepaids

Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close in line with corporate timelines

Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations related to manufacturing activities

Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and audit requirements

Support internal and external audits with analysis and documentation

Manufacturing & Cost Analysis

Analyze standard vs. actual manufacturing costs and translate variances into clear root-cause insights

Monitor inventory, WIP, scrap, yield, and absorption across both sites

Support standard cost maintenance and periodic cost updates

Partner with Operations to identify cost drivers and improvement opportunities

Track and analyze key KPIs such as cost per unit, labor efficiency, scrap, rework, and inventory turns

Reporting & Business Support

Prepare monthly manufacturing performance reporting for both sites

Ensure consistency and comparability of financial data across locations

Support site-level budgeting and forecasting processes

Provide ad-hoc analysis to support operational and management decision-making

Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting tools and processes (ERP, Excel, Power BI)

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

3–5 years of experience in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, or plant accounting

Hands-on experience with journal entries and month-end close

Experience supporting multi-site or complex manufacturing environments (asset)

CPA designation or progress toward CPA (asset)

Bilingual : French and English

Technical Skills

Solid understanding of manufacturing finance and cost accounting principles

Strong knowledge of inventory, WIP, and accrual accounting

Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, variance analysis)

Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar)

Power BI or other reporting tools (asset)
