Adecco is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for a temporary to possibly permanent role located in Brampton, ON . This position offers a salary of $35-37 per hour, depending on experience. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals looking to join a dynamic, fast-paced environment within the logistics and freight forwarding industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial reporting, analysis, and process improvements to enhance customer profitability and operational efficiency.
Pay rate : $35-$37 / hour depending on experience .
Location : Brampton, ON
Shifts : Monday-Friday 9 : 00am-5 : 00pm

New and quicker onboarding process Responsibilities :
Prepare accurate and timely customer invoicing, including providing detailed backup data and KPIs.
Ensure the integrity of customer invoicing and P&L entries for purchases and spend, supporting customer profitability reporting.
Design and prepare weekly and monthly management accounts, including P&L statements and Balance Sheet reconciliations, ensuring all accruals and prepayments are justified and in line with accounting standards.
Monitor actual spend against budgets for both the customer and client, providing variance analysis with detailed explanations and costings.
Produce customer analysis and reports, ensuring accuracy for operational management and customers.
Report key financial and operational KPIs.
Reconcile all transactions between customer and client financial reports on a weekly / monthly basis.
Manage timekeeping records and ensure payroll costings are accurately reported against the Customer Profit & Loss accounts and budget.
Implement processes and improvements to maintain lean and controlled financial and operational administrative tasks, while identifying cost-saving initiatives.
Maintain accurate cost control and administration of purchases through the internal Purchase Control system.
Assist with tracking tools to aid in financial tracking for budgets, implementations, start-ups, and capital investments.
Attend meetings and prepare reports to review financial reporting with clients and the internal management team.
Increase financial awareness at all levels, ensuring adherence to financial standards and procedures.
Prepare monthly rolling forecasts, annual target setting, and ad-hoc variance analysis.
Assist in monitoring and optimizing the cash conversion cycle.
Resolve purchase ledger queries in a timely manner. Requirements :
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
A strong accounting and finance knowledge, typically gained through a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and at least 3 years of progressive experience, preferably in the 3PL or freight forwarding industry.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (required), including using advanced functions like Index / Match (beyond Vlookup / Pivot Tables).
Experience with reporting and data visualization platforms such as Tableau (asset).
Strong communication skills (required for recommending and influencing the operational team and attending customer meetings).
Analytical skills to analyze data and financial statements to identify trends, inconsistencies, and opportunities.
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
